The International (Nice) Classification of Goods and Services divides goods and services into 45 Trademark Classes (1 to 34 cover Goods, and 35 to 45 cover Services). The Indian Trademark Registry uses this classification to categorize trademarks.
Class 14 primarily includes precious metals, precious metal goods not included in other classes, and, in general, jewelry, clocks, and watches. It also includes precious metals and their alloys, as well as goods made of precious metals or coated in precious metals that are not included in other classes; jeweler, precious stones, and horological and chronometric instruments.
